The Jays Villa  - FAQ's

 

 

§         What is the maximum number of guests allowed in the Villa?

Fire regulations allow for 12 occupants in the villa. Only people named on the booking form are allowed to stay in the property. There are a total of 5 bedrooms and a large Queen size sofa bed in the living/family room.  

§         How far away is the Airport?

      Orlando is approx. 30 minutes way, Sanford is approx. 50 minutes

      away.  

§         What about making telephone calls?

All local calls are free. All Non U.S. guests will be supplied with a complimentary phone card providing hours of International & long distance calls   

§         Is smoking or are pets allowed in the Villa?

For the comfort and safety of all guests smoking is not allowed within the villa, which is fitted with smoke detectors, but guests can smoke outside or on the screened patio area. No pets are allowed.  

§         How far away are the main attractions?

The villa is approx. 10 minutes away from the main entrance of Walt Disney World. Sea World is around 25 minutes away, and Universal Studios 35 minutes away. There are shops (including a Win Dixie Supermarket) and restaurants just 5 minutes way. The villa is 10 minutes from an enormous selection of restaurants etc. on highway 192.  Designer outlets and shopping malls are within a 30 minute drive. There are also around 38 Golf Courses also within a 30 minute drive. Busch Gardens can be reached in around 45 minutes, and the beaches of the Gulf Coast and the Atlantic coast are just 1 hour away.  

§         Does the pool back on to other properties?

No! The villa backs on to a wooded conservation area.  

§         How do we locate/enter the property?

We will provide you with all details of the villa, location and telephone number of our Management Company, and other general information, 3 weeks before your departure. You will also then be given the key code to the villa.  

§         How can I pay?

With either a £ or US $ Cheque. Alternatively by Internet Bank transfer (details on request), or by Credit Card via PayPal (4% charge will be added). Receipts will be issued for all monies received.  

§         Will we have to bring bed linen/towels with us?

The villa is fully equipped for all your likely holiday requirements. Plenty of Bed linen and towels are provided. However, we do ask that towels are not removed from the villa and pool, and therefore you are requested to bring your own beach towels if you intend to visit the local water parks or beaches.  

§         What entertainment is provided?

There is a large 32 inch High definition cable TV in the Living Area, and all  the Bedrooms have cable TVs. A total of 6 TVs!  In the Family Area is a multi region DVD player. This will play all DVD's from anywhere in the world, so bring along your favorites, or view from the DVDs available in the Villa. Also in the Family area is a PlayStation 2, along with a selection of games. In the Games Area is a full size 8 ft Pool Table with the necessary equipment, a Dartboard and Darts, a Table Tennis Table (with bats and balls), a Table Football (Fussball) Table along with a selection of board games.  

§         Is the Pool or Spa heated?

These can both be heated on request for the additional cost as indicated in the Weekly Rental Charges. We would recommend pool heat from October through to April.  

§         What are the Pool safety features?

The pool is completely enclosed, and therefore can only be entered from inside the Villa or from the gate on the side. It is covered with a fine mesh screen that keeps the insects out, but in no way affects getting a good sun tan! It has a removable 4 ft high safety fence between the pool and the rear of the Villa. It is recommended that this fence is kept in place when young children are present in the Villa.

§         Are there any medical services locally?

The local pharmacy is just 4 minutes away. Details of doctors and the nearest hospital are contained in the Welcome Book kept in the Villa. Additionally our Management Company will be pleased to advise you.  

§         What services are provided?

The house is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival and the pool and gardens are tended to weekly.  

§         Who do we contact for questions/emergencies?

We have employed a professional (24hour/7 days a week) Management Company to look after your every need.  

§         What if I need Internet access?

Free access to a Computer, and  the Internet are available for our guests at our Management Company’s Internet Café.  

§         Have you access to similar property?

Yes, we have access to similar quality properties on Silver Creek, and will happily direct you to the owners.  

§         What about child facilities?

       A Cot, a High Chair and a Buggy are provided free of charge.
